Waitawa Regional Park

I took a North Harbour Ulysses ride to Waitawa Regional Park today. This is one of Auckland’s newest regional parks, opened in 2014. It has lovely views over the Hauraki Gulf and Karamuramu Island. There’s an interesting history, which can be read about at the wharf north-east of the main carpark.
