Day 60, Friday 20 October 2017
I had a medium-length ride planned for today, but didn’t take into account that this is the day before Labour Weekend. The motorways out of Auckland are stop and go traffic, even in the early afternoon, as people head away for the long weekend. I had wide panniers on my bike, making filtering between lanes difficult, and rather than spend an hour or two in such traffic I opted to turn around and go home.
