I went to the Parnell Rose Gardens today to admire the roses. There are hundreds of varieties in flower with fanciful names such as “Absolutely Fabulous” (the yellow rose pictured below). Some have scent, some don’t, but the overall effect is a wonderful profusion of colours, shapes and scents.
