North Harbour Ulysses organises this ride each year to raise funds for the Ronald McDonald House in Auckland. The House provides accommodation for the families of children being treated at National Children’s Hospital. In previous years, this has been called the Ronnie Run. It was renamed in honour of the organiser of the previous events, Vaughan Nankivell, who died earlier this year.
We had about 200 bikes today. A well-organised event!
