Parry Kauri Park

Day 88, Friday 17 November 2017

I went to Parry Kauri Park near Warkworth this afternoon. There are some magnificent trees, especially the kauri. The one pictured here is about 800 years old. A network of boardwalks provides easy access through the forest, with the full loop taking about 25 minutes. Many native trees and other plants have informative signs.

Distance travelled: 125 km. Total distance so far: 12,979 km
