Long Bay is the northernmost beach of the East Coast Bays area of Auckland’s North Shore. It’s a long, wide sandy beach with safe swimming and good surf. There isn’t any shade on the beach, but there’s a broad grassy park just inland with plenty of shade trees and facilities such as picnic tables.
