Day 111, Sunday 10 December 2017.
I went riding with a group of North Harbour Ulyssians today. Unlike the usual format where we have a single Rider in Charge (RIC) who leads the entire ride, today we tried an experiment where one person led for as long as they felt like it, then they pulled over and another rider took the lead, with a final destination in mind but no particular route planned to get there. The destination was Muriwai beach, which was not very far from our start point, but on the way we travelled along Ridge, Sunnyside, Birdwood and Foster Roads. West Auckland has so many of these winding roads, mostly with speed limits of 80 km/h, which is quite enough to enjoy them.
Distance travelled: 158 km. Total distance so far: 15,835 km
