Day 153, Sunday 21 January 2018.
Winstones cove is a little beach between Torbay and Long Beach on the North Shore of Auckland. There’s public access from Gray Crescent, and at low tide there are walks to the north and south. It’s sandy, appears to be safe swimming, and there’s shade from an enormous pōhutukawa tree. What makes this beach special is the layered cliffs which offer nooks for people to lie in relative privacy.
