Day 226, Wednesday 4 April 2018
I led a group of North Harbour Ulyssians up to Mangawhai today. One bike broke down at the bottom of the Matakana Valley hill, but the Tail-End Charlie stayed with the rider until the AA sent a tow-truck. We had lunch at Mangawhai Tavern, which is located right on the edge of Mangawhai Harbour. After lunch, five of us got a gravel fix by taking Black Swamp Road to Te Arai Point.
