I rode to Tahuna Torea today, a wetland on the Tamaki Estuary in East Auckland. There’s a remarkable diversity to experience on a walk through this area; walks through bush, wetland and the beach. The track is severely broken up in one area but otherwise is of good quality, and there are signs identifying native trees and places where native birds may be seen.
