Jaggers Bush is a small patch of bush running along Meola Creek between Old Mill Road and Meola Road, so I parked on Old Mill opposite Auckland Zoo and went to explore it. There is a very pleasant track running through it, with branches up to Notley Street and Savage Street.
The nearby Western Springs College was finishing for the day, and many small groups of teenagers were on their way home along the path.
