George Gair Lookout is a cliff-top carpark at the back of Takapuna Grammar School, off Winscombe St. It was named after a former mayor of North Shore City. There are views over the Waitemata Harbour and across to Rangitoto. Today was a bit windy, and many yachts were out in the harbour, making for a very pleasant view.
