I joined North Harbour Ulysses today on a ride to Tinopai, a coastal settlement south of Matakohe. The road there is all sealed and winds through pleasant countryside. The settlement is charming although there are few facilities. There used to be a general store, but that is now closed and up for sale. Kaipara Harbour was looking very tranquil today. We went back to Matakohe for lunch.
