I explored the seaside suburb of Conifer Grove today. It’s an affluent suburb of South Auckland, almost a gated community with only one road going in and out, and that has a prominent camera recording all movements. It is on a peninsula on the Manukau Harbour, and there is public access to the edges of the land all the way around. There’s a small shopping centre, and a primary school. As every self-respecting community has nowadays, there’s a boardwalk over the mangroves. This would be a nice place to live.
