Muriwai

The North Harbour Ulyssians wanted a short ride today, so we set a desination of Muriwai, and proceeded to make a highly indirect route there. To avoid a heavy shower, the lead rider pulled over at Waimauku Shopping Centre. Four bikes at the tail end of the ride, including me, were out of sight of the others, and continued up Taylors Road, making our way to Muriwai via Helensville. Despite this added distance, we arrived only a little bit after the main ride. After lunch the showers had cleared and I air-dried on my way home.
