The forecast today was for light rain in the morning, moderate rain after lunch, and heavy rain in the afternoon. I was busy in the morning, and only a little rain fell, so I decided to head out soon after lunch in the hope of avoiding the heavy rain.
It was raining quite a lot as I left, and this continued throughout the ride. On returning home, I found the after lunch forecast had been revised to heavy rain. What are the chances that the rain forecast for the rest of the day will disappear now that I’m safely home? Not likely, according to the rain radar!
